Week Nine - Common Growth Night

Week Nine

Common Growth Night

Let's growth with one another

As you enter this week, we want you to engage your group in what they are learning from Sunday’s conversation. We challenge you to practice asking “good” questions as you learn more and connect with your group members on a deeper level.

Check out the Good Questions video below from one of our partner churches to learn more about how to incorporate this practice in your group.

Asking Good Questions

Why should you ask good questions?

  • Questions help people to think for themselves and that creates ownership

  • Questions encourage people to problem-solve

  • When you ask a question, you are in control of the conversation

What makes a “good” question?

Good questions are discovery-based, motivated by a genuine desire to understand, and connect with the other person.

Good questions help your group members own the discussion at a deep level.
